Degrees of Separation
These young dudes from Melbourne are making waves....."Good sound...very impressed"- Mark Opitz

As soon as they started it seemed different, there was no copying the classics, these guys have a sound all of their own, yeah sure I could hear bits and pieces of Queen and VH, but it was generally in the harmonies, which were damn near perfect. I'm sure wherever Mr Mercury is he is giggling with glee, as there's a band which could easily match Queen on so many fronts.
Degrees of Separation have a stage presence which is very tight and professional, they play good music but also understand that a stage show is very important, on a bigger stage this band would be awesome, they need space to run.
There's no doubt that Degrees of Separation are commercial, but it's a commerciality that isn't mainstream, they're fresh, energetic and seriously one of the best bands I have seen, amazing considering they haven't been around for too long. Give them time and I reckon they'll be big. www.leighwilkins.com
